Adoption

One of my life’s biggest surprises has been the adventure of adoption. Adoption was never on my radar, and never something I aspired to, until God brought unique circumstances into our life that made Lisa start asking the question, “Brad, would you ever consider adopting a child?” We were almost 20 years into our marriage by then. My first answer was “no.” Since then I have answered “yes.” Seven times.

It has been a wonderful, challenging, God-revealing journey and I am so happy to be the father of these wonderful children from India, Ethiopia, and China.

Someday I may expand this section of the website with resources and insights that have helped us along the way. But for now, just a picture of 6 of our adopted children and a parody song that explains how I got 10 kids.
